Job Description

The Mall Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the mall. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently. As an Operations Assistant, you will assist in coordinating with various departments within the mall, such as security, maintenance, and customer service, to ensure everything runs seamlessly. Your duties will also include monitoring store operations, assisting with facility management, and providing support for events and promotions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and vendors are essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and possess problem-solving skills to address any issues that arise promptly.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating daily mall operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of security and maintenance teams.
  • Ensure stores adhere to mall operational policies and procedures.
  • Support the marketing team in organizing mall events and promotions.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback in a professional manner.
  • Maintain open communication with tenants to address their operational needs.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and orderliness of common areas in the mall.
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist in preparing operational reports and documentation for management review.
  • Liaise with security to manage safety protocols and emergency response plans.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of essential services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in retail or mall operations is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in using basic office software, including MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
  • Customer-focused with a positive attitude and problem-solving capabilities.
