Job Description

We’re looking for a Local SEO Specialist who can own and scale local search performance for a real estate-focused business operating in competitive Canadian markets. This role is ideal for someone who understands how local intent works in real estate and knows how to turn Google visibility into consistent inbound leads.


You will be responsible for improving rankings, visibility, and conversions across Google Business Profiles, local landing pages, and supporting technical SEO infrastructure. This role is hands-on, performance-driven, and focused on outcomes, not vanity metrics.

What You’ll Work On

Local SEO Strategy and Execution

  • Own and optimize Google Business Profiles across target locations
  • Improve local pack rankings, map visibility, and branded search presence
  • Manage citations, NAP consistency, and local authority signals
  • Build and optimize location-based landing pages for conversion and relevance

Content and On-Page Optimization

  • Develop and optimize local SEO content aligned with real estate search intent
  • Improve on-page SEO elements including titles, headers, schema, and internal linking
  • Support blog and supporting content focused on local real estate topics

Technical SEO

  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues impacting crawlability and indexation
  • Improve site performance, mobile usability, and Core Web Vitals
  • Implement structured data and local schema where appropriate

Performance Tracking and Optimization

  • Track rankings, traffic, calls, form submissions, and local conversions
  • Monitor Google Business Profile insights and local search performance
  • Continuously test and refine strategies based on performance data


What You Bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on local SEO experience
  • Proven experience managing Google Business Profiles at scale
  • Strong understanding of real estate SEO or other high-intent local industries
  • Solid technical SEO foundation and ability to troubleshoot independently
  • Experience optimizing local landing pages for both rankings and conversions
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort reporting on performance and outcomes

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Canadian local SEO markets
  • Familiarity with call tracking and lead attribution for local SEO
  • Experience competing in highly competitive local SERPs
  • Exposure to CRO or landing page optimization
