Job Title: Legal Transcriptionist & Administrator

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Job Summary

Were looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Transcriptionist & Administrator to join our team remotely. In this role, youll handle transcription of legal audio files, manage digital correspondence, organise files, and support legal admin tasks using tools like LEAP, Monday.com, and Outlook. This position is ideal for someone with strong legal transcription experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage costing and savings-related communications via Microsoft Outlook
  • Organise and maintain digital files using online file management systems (e.g., Google Drive, OneDrive)
  • Draft formal letters and internal communications as needed
  • Transcribe audio recordings accurately and efficiently, including legal content
  • Support legal administration through LEAP, including document creation, file tracking, and client record management
  • Assist with task and project tracking using Monday.com
  • Provide general administrative support and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with transcription, preferably in a legal setting
  • Excellent listening skills and fast, accurate typing ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and professional email communication
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with LEAP and Monday.com (or similar tools)
  • Ability to manage digital files and maintain organised records
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
  • Prior experience as a legal transcriptionist or in a law office environment
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
  • Experience in a virtual assistant or remote administrative support role
