Job Description

ROLE: Legal Intake & Case Management Assistant (experience in US legal intake is required)


JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Conduct new client intake interviews and gather case information.
  • Open and maintain client files and case records.
  • Manage case-related documentation and correspondence.
  • Assist with legal document preparation and drafting using templates and attorney instructions.
  • Track deadlines, appointments, and case milestones.
  • Follow up with clients regarding required documents and case updates.
  • Update case management systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate communication between attorneys, staff, and clients.
  • Support attorneys with administrative and case management tasks.


HARD REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal Assistant, or Legal Intake Specialist.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with legal case management software and cloud-based applications.
  • Experience working in a US-based law firm.
  • Experience with client intake and case management.
  • Familiarity with legal document preparation.
  • Previous remote work experience.


HOURS/WEEK:

  • 40 hours per week


SCHEDULE:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9AM - 5PM Eastern Standard Time Zone


OFFER:

  • Weeks 1–6: $5 USD/hour
  • Weeks 7-12: $6 USD/hour
  • Weeks 13 onwards: $7 USD/hour
