Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled legal professional with 3–5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or in a similar role supporting executives. A solid understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation is essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Notion is required. The role requires the ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision, with availability during Singapore business hours.


Job Highlights

  • Hourly Rate: USD 4, the equivalent in your local currency
  • Paid Hours per Week: 40 Hours
  • Schedule: 9 AM to 6 PM Singapore Time
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to senior leadership
  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents, contracts, and agreements
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings for executive decision-making
  • Maintain and organize legal files, databases, and compliance documentation
  • Manage calendar scheduling, coordinate meetings, and prepare executive briefings
  • Handle confidential communications and high-level correspondence
  • Support cross-functional teams on compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory matters
  • Track deadlines for legal filings and contract renewals
  • Assist in improving legal workflows and implementing best practices
  • Support internal operations, including light bookkeeping or digital marketing tasks as needed



Requirements

  • 3 years of experience working in a law firm or corporate legal environment
  • Proven experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar role supporting executives
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Notion)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Availability during Singapore business hours
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a professional home office setup
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion in all matters
  • Must have diary management experience
  • Payroll + finance administration experience is nice to have
  • Must be used to handling a large volume of varied administrative tasks, in a busy environment
