Legal Case Manager

We are seeking a Senior Legal Case Manager to support expert witness services in a fully remote capacity. This role blends legal expertise, relationship management, and complex project coordination, connecting legal teams with expert witnesses who help shape case outcomes. Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: USD 2125

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM AEST

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note:

Since this is a permanent work-from-home position under an Independent Contractor engagement, candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will manage their own benefits and taxes. Professional fees are hourly and dependent on performance during the application process.

Responsibilities

• Manage legal matters from initial instruction through to completion
• Act as the main liaison between lawyers and expert witnesses
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and updates for each case
• Work with internal research teams to match the right experts to the right cases
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure reports meet legal standards
• Anticipate potential issues and maintain smooth case progression
• Support preparation and delivery of high-quality expert evidence

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field
• Experience in a law firm or legal services environment (lawyer or senior paralegal experience highly regarded)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Proactive, solution-focused mindset
• Confidence working with a variety of professionals, including international stakeholders
• Proficiency with MS Office and standard business tools
