You’ll be the organizational backbone of a fast-paced legal and consulting practice, managing everything from client coordination to document preparation across multiple business entities. This role offers the unique opportunity to work directly with firm principals in a small team environment where your contributions directly impact client success. You’ll handle confidential matters requiring the highest security standards while working with cutting-edge legal technology and AI tools.


Job Highlights:

  • Hourly Rate: USD 6, the equivalent in your local currency
  • Paid Hours per Week: 40
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendars and coordinate meeting scheduling across multiple time zones and client requirements
  • Format, proofread, and quality control legal documents and consulting materials with precision
  • Coordinate client setup processes and manage tasks across various project management systems
  • Prepare engagement letters and create contracts from established templates
  • Support complex project management activities and task entry into multiple platforms
  • Facilitate administrative payroll data entry and coordination.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols as a sub-processor for client information


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working remotely and independently in administrative or legal support roles
  • Advanced proficiency in both Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) AND Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Strong internet connection with the capability to maintain video calls while screen sharing simultaneously
  • Computer with a minimum of 16GB RAM to handle multiple applications and demanding workloads
  • Excellent follow-through with flexibility to shift priorities as business needs change
  • Bonus if you have experience with project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, Teamwork)
  • It helps if you’re familiar with AI legal tools like Spellbook or Latera for document work
  • Bonus if you have experience with legal billing, time tracking, or law firm operations
