What You Will Be Doing

• Constructing highly precise Academic Data Reports and executing methodical analysis to identify issues, detect irregularities, and initiate resolutions within 48 hours
• Facilitating urgent "intervention" calls and delivering post-assessment coaching sessions to eliminate obstacles, distinguish conceptual gaps from mistakes, and sustain learner engagement
• Assessing and integrating new educational applications and materials while architecting AI/LLM prototypes to advance learning methodologies and address particular challenges
• Collaborating with leadership to optimize tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor advances

Learning Experience Designer Key Responsibilities

Accelerate student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and live academic intelligence, evidenced by improved metrics such as 2× learning velocity, application engagement, lesson mastery, answer precision, and diminished negative learning behaviors across the Alpha Anywhere network.

Basic Requirements

• Proven experience in data science or comparable role, education, EdTech, or a student-facing position with both quantitative and relational dimensions
• Proficiency in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
• High emotional intelligence, strong communication skills and a kid-friendly coaching style
• Experience building workflows and automations with AI
• At least 1 year experience working closely with K-8 students
• Available to work during required core hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.

• Foundation in learning science, pedagogical principles, or verified success enhancing outcomes through data-informed strategies
• Familiarity with Generative AI, prompting methodologies, and foundational coding abilities (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for querying AI APIs

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
