Our client is looking for a talented Landscape Designer to support their design studio from overseas. If you love creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces and you’re confident working independently with a high level of detail, this role is for you.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sydney, (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities
Produce high-quality 2D and 3D landscape designs
Turn client briefs into clear, buildable concepts
Prepare planting plans, finish schedules, and design documentation
Update and refine designs based on client or manager feedback
Assist with material research and design inspiration boards
Prepare drawings for estimating and construction teams
Communicate with our clients Design Manager via email, Zoom, and Slack
Keep projects organised, on time, and consistent with the brand and standards
Requirements
Strong design skills and a good eye for aesthetics
Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Lumion, or similar design software
Strong understanding of interpreting survey information and designing for sloped and complex sites in both 2D and 3D
An understanding of modern Australian-style gardens and landscape design aesthetics
Understanding of general landscape layout, planting, and construction principles
Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work to set design frameworks
Excellent English communication
Someone reliable, proactive, and detail-obsessed
Relevant & recent design experience working with high-end residential projects
Strong computer literacy and a reliable internet connection
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Environmental Design, or related field
Proven experience preparing 2D and 3D design presentations (portfolio required)
Experience working with international clients (preferred but not essential)
Familiarity with Australian plants, materials, and construction standards (bonus—training provided)
Ability to read and interpret site plans, surveys, and architectural drawings

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement.
