Schedule: Flexible (anytime) Australian Eastern Time — Ninderry, QLD (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Create 3D visualizations using Floor Planner or similar software
• Design detailed 2D sketches and landscape concepts for residential clients
• Support the sales team with high-impact design visuals
• Refine designs based on client feedback and project goals
• Use cactus and succulent plant data to develop functional, visually appealing outdoor spaces
• Participate in trial projects to showcase your design capabilities

Requirements:

• Strong, proven experience in landscape architecture — must submit relevant portfolio examples demonstrating landscape and plant-focused projects
• Hands-on landscape design expertise, where landscaping is the primary focus rather than a secondary element
• Proficiency in design software (Floor Planner preferred but flexible)
• Solid horticultural knowledge, including plants, materials, and environmental considerations
• Residential project experience is preferred
• Self-starter who meets deadlines and works autonomously, especially when making informed decisions about plant selection and design choices
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
• Passion for sustainable, low-water landscaping
• Willingness to learn new tools and workflows

Side Note:

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on performance during the application process.
