Client Overview

We are a company that facilitates license registrations for large fleet companies. Our company provides a streamlined process for businesses to obtain the necessary licenses and registrations to operate within their respective industries. We are seeking a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team to support our business operations through basic data analysis. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about basic data analysis and has a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. We provide full training and support to ensure the candidate is set up for success.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm EST

Responsibilities

• Work with the management team to understand business needs and objectives, and provide support in basic data analysis, report creation, and dashboard building

• Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources to identify basic trends and insights that support data-driven decision making

• Develop, maintain, and update basic data visualizations and reports using tools like Excel and basic business intelligence software

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and ensure basic data accuracy and consistency

• Support the implementation and maintenance of basic databases and data systems

• Participate in ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required

• Continuously improve basic data analysis processes and tools, and identify opportunities for automation and optimization

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field

• Basic proficiency in Excel, SQL, and business intelligence software like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik

• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and tools

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Side Note

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
