Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Field Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an IT Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the seamless operation of our clients' IT systems. You will work closely with end-users, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, and performing system installations and maintenance. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will need to liaise with clients and internal teams to deliver effective support solutions. Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware-software systems, including desktops and servers.
  • Assist with the setup and deployment of client workstations and peripherals.
  • Coordinate with remote teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, installations, and configurations.
  • Perform routine network and system health checks as part of preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure security compliance by implementing company IT policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to optimize IT operations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users for effective utilization of IT resources.
  • Stay updated with the latest IT trends to recommend industry best practices.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role required.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, networks, and security protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Outstanding communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are highly desirable.
