About The Role
As the IT Administrator at J4RVIS, you will own and safeguard our internal technology environment. You are the primary point of contact for user support and the end-to-end owner of our identity, device, and security landscape. This is a hands-on, autonomous role where you manage daily IT operations while proactively strengthening our systems, security posture, and ISO compliance.
You will work independently, set your own execution roadmap, and ensure our team remains secure, connected, and productive—without constant oversight.
Responsibilities
- Own identity and access management across core systems (Microsoft Entra ID, Salesforce, Rippling, and other SaaS tools)
- Manage device provisioning and lifecycle using Microsoft Intune, including laptops and mobile devices
- Maintain accurate IT asset and software license inventories, monitoring usage and compliance
- Operate and manage the IT helpdesk, owning tickets end-to-end and providing timely user support
- Manage security operations using Microsoft Defender, monitoring risks and responding to vulnerabilities
- Ensure IT operations and documentation meet ISO compliance standards and audit requirements
- Execute employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring Day 1 readiness and secure access removal
- Proactively identify system improvements, security enhancements, and operational risks
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in an internal IT, IT operations, or IT coordinator role
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender, and Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Experience managing SaaS access, device management, and IT asset inventories
- Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance-driven environments (ISO experience preferred)
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote role and manage priorities independently
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Clear written and verbal English communication skills
