Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conceptual Design Development: Create innovative and original interior design concepts that reflect client aspirations and brand identity. Use sketches, storyboards, mood boards, and digital tools to bring abstract ideas to life.

2. Creative Presentation of Ideas: Translate creative concepts into compelling design proposals and presentations, effectively communicating vision, mood, and spatial intent to clients and stakeholders.

3. Visual Storytelling Through Material & Styling: Select materials, furnishings, finishes, lighting, and décor that enhance the conceptual theme and create immersive environments aligned with the project vision.

4. Design Refinement & Art Direction: Continuously refine design details through creative exploration, ensuring cohesiveness in spatial experience, style, and material harmony.

5. Trend & Inspiration Research: Stay ahead of industry trends, global design movements, and material innovations to inject fresh perspectives and creativity into each project.

6. Collaboration with Design Teams: Work closely with 3D visualizers, architects, engineers, procurement and project teams to translate creative direction into detailed drawings, layouts, and visual representations (2D/3D) for execution.

7. Balance of Aesthetic & Functionality: Ensure that each design balances aesthetic excellence with practical needs and functionality, customized to the client’s lifestyle or brand story.

8. Timeline & Creative Workflow Management: Manage the creative process across multiple projects while respecting deadlines, design milestones, and client feedback loops.

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. (Mandatory)

2 .Conceptual Design Expertise: Demonstrated ability to generate unique and high-impact design concepts with strong storytelling and ideation skills.

3. Design Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and 3Ds Max for visualization and presentation.

4. Creativity & Aesthetic Sensibility: Excellent design taste, creative problem-solving, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of spatial composition, form, and colour.

5. Space Planning & Styling Knowledge: Strong understanding of spatial zoning, material behaviour, lighting, textures, and styling to support the conceptual intent.

6. Project Management Skills: Ability to juggle multiple projects creatively and efficiently under tight timelines, with a flexible and adaptive approach.

7. Strong Communication: Confident in articulating creative ideas both visually and verbally to clients and teams.

8. Technical Awareness: Basic knowledge of construction processes, site coordination, and an eye for design feasibility.

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in the interior design industry. (Mandatory)
