Job Description: You’ll be the trusted voice clients hear when they call with questions, concerns, or requests. This role puts you at the center of client relationships, where your communication skills and problem-solving abilities directly impact customer satisfaction. You’ll handle the day-to-day service needs that keep an insurance agency running smoothly, while building meaningful connections with clients who depend on your expertise and professionalism.


Job Highlights

  • Hourly Rate: USD 5.80, the equivalent in your local currency
  • Paid Hours per Week: 20
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10am-3pm EST
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming customer service calls from existing policyholders with professionalism and care
  • Process policy changes and modifications accurately based on client requests
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications and inquiries
  • Answer detailed questions about existing policies and coverage details
  • Manage client account updates and maintain accurate records in CRM systems
  • Resolve client concerns efficiently while maintaining positive relationships
  • Support business operations by taking administrative tasks off the owner’s plate
  • Communicate with clients through multiple channels as needed


Requirements:

  • Customer service experience, with financial services or insurance background a must
  • Strong verbal communication skills for professional client interactions
  • Comfort with CRM systems and dialer technology for managing client communications
  • Ability to handle policy-related inquiries with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional demeanor when representing the agency to clients
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet, professional work environment
  • Bonus if you have insurance industry experience or familiarity with policy processes
  • It helps if you have insurance licensing, though not strictly required
