Role Overview

As our Sales Specialist, you’ll respond to customers already seeking CPAP equipment and related services, using a consultative approach to understand their needs and guide each conversation toward a completed sale. You’ll balance professionalism and patient care with a strong focus on conversion, revenue, and personal sales targets. Sales ability comes first—we can teach the healthcare and durable medical equipment side, but you’ll bring the drive to win.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Every Lead: Respond promptly to inbound enquiries across phone, SMS, webchat, email, and online forms.
• Uncover the Need: Ask thoughtful questions, identify customer requirements, and recommend the right CPAP equipment or related service.
• Ask for the Sale: Handle objections confidently, create urgency where appropriate, and guide every qualified conversation toward a clear close.
• Deliver the Numbers: Convert enquiries into completed sales while consistently meeting or exceeding individual sales targets.
• Protect the Experience: Maintain a high standard of professionalism, accuracy, and patient care without losing sight of commercial goals.
• Shape the Process: Collaborate with the Digital Sales team to improve messaging, workflows, and conversion practices.
• Flex with Demand: Help cover inbound volume when needed and adapt quickly as priorities and customer demand shift.

Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of proven sales experience; quota-carrying experience is strongly preferred.
• A consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a commission-driven environment.
• Strong rapport-building, objection-handling, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Confident verbal and written communication across phone, text, email, and chat, with the ability to adjust tone for different customers.
• Healthcare, PAP therapy, or durable medical equipment experience is an advantage, but not required.
• Comfort managing multiple customer conversations and digital workflows at the same time.
• Experience with SMS messaging platforms; Podium experience is a plus.
• Organized, detail-oriented, coachable, and committed to getting things right the first time.
• Flexible, collaborative, and excited to help build and refine a role as the sales program grows.
