Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable HSE Advisor to join our team. As an HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations comply with all safety regulations and fostering a safety-first culture within the organization. You will provide support and direction in various health, safety, and environmental initiatives, ensuring a safe workplace for all employees. Your expertise will guide project teams in understanding and implementing safety protocols across various departments. Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures that are comprehensive and effective.
  • Provide training and coaching to employees on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
  • Collaborate with management to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and prepare reports for internal and external use.
  • Advise management on HSE matters and monitor the effectiveness of safety programs.
  • Promote safety awareness and environmental responsibility across the organization.
  • Ensure emergency response plans are current and staff are trained appropriately.
  • Keep updated with changes in HSE legislation and industry standards.
  • Facilitate risk assessments and ensure control measures are properly implemented.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for HSE-related inquiries and issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental role.
  • Strong knowledge of local and federal HSE legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and training skills for diverse team environments.
  • Ability to analyze data and conduct comprehensive risk assessments effectively.
  • Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or CSP is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing HSE projects and initiatives.
