Job Description

The Human Resources (HR) Officer plays a vital role in supporting the welfare and development of the company's most valuable asset – its employees. As an HR Officer, you'll be responsible for managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and executing strategies that improve workplace efficiency and employee satisfaction. You will be tasked with implementing company policies, handling employee relations, recruitment, and retention, and supporting the entire employee lifecycle from entry to exit. The HR Officer will also contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, as you will collaborate with various departments and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development and engagement of employees.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Handle all administrative tasks associated with onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit processes.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations to minimize legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance within the organization.
  • Conduct training and development initiatives to improve employee skills and productivity.
  • Organize and maintain employees' records and ensure data accuracy and security.
  • Administer compensation and benefits plans effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Provide support and advice to management and employees on HR-related matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as an HR Officer or similar HR role for at least 3 years.
  • Familiarity with HR software and databases, such as HRIS or other relevant tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of discretion and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
