Job Description

The HR Generalist 04N25 is a versatile and dynamic role within the Human Resources department, tasked with managing a broad spectrum of HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with company policies. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple HR functions and support both employees and management in fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Generalist will work closely with various departments to deliver HR services efficiently and effectively. They should have strong interpersonal skills and a good understanding of HR practices and employment law. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company's HR operations run smoothly and contribute to the overall success of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to candidate onboarding.
  • Develop and execute employee relations initiatives to ensure a harmonious workplace.
  • Provide support in developing HR policies that align with organizational goals.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
  • Facilitate employee training programs to enhance skills and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data for actionable insights to reduce turnover.
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS to ensure information accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies within the company.
  • Provide guidance to employees on HR-related inquiries and issues, fostering open communication.
  • Coordinate employee benefits programs, including enrollment and communication efforts.
  • Collaborate with managers to address and resolve workplace conflicts and concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in an HR Generalist or related HR role.
  • Solid understanding of HR principles and employment legislation compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interpersonal interactions.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
