Job Overview

We are seeking a high-level HR & Recruitment Specialist (our "Super Person") to be the face of our company to potential candidates. You will be responsible for vetting, interviewing, and onboarding elite security personnel with military and law enforcement backgrounds. You won't just fill seats; you will build the culture of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Source and recruit candidates meeting our strict minimum standards: 2 years military, 2 years law enforcement, or 2 years verifiable travel security experience.
  • Conduct deep-dive interviews: Move beyond "yes/no" answers to challenge and verify candidate experience.
  • Verify critical documentation, including DD-214 forms for veterans and state-specific Security Guard Cards.
  • Manage the full-cycle screening process: Criminal background checks, motor vehicle reports, and drug testing are coordinated.
  • Maintain and update our Bullhorn CRM with meticulous accuracy.
  • Track candidate credentials, licenses (e.g., specific state deployments like New Jersey), and availability.
  • Ensure all new hires are properly "placed" in the system for specific deployments.
  • Maintain a "high contact rate" with our candidate base to ensure readiness for immediate deployment.
  • Coordinate urgent staffing needs (e.g., getting 10 people ready for a flight within 24 hours of a client request).


Requirements

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a specialized HR/Recruitment role.
  • Education: 4-year College Degree preferred (to ensure high-level communication and vetting capabilities).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Bullhorn CRM or similar recruitment CRM systems. Experience with cloud-based HRIS platforms. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Communication: Fluent English with exceptional "ice-breaking" and diplomatic skills. You must be able to represent the company culture professionally while firmly disqualifying non-fits.
  • Industry Knowledge: A background or understanding of military, law enforcement, or specialized security sectors is a significant plus.
