Job Description

As Head of Shopper & Customer Marketing - Global FMCG, you will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive trade marketing strategy that aligns with the companys retail excellence principles. This includes collaborating closely with distributors to ensure effective deployment of plans, managing monthly cycle meetings, and driving alignment through trade bulletins. You will oversee promotion planning and execution by identifying key accounts, designing channel-specific programs, and ensuring timely co-packing and product rework to meet trade timelines. Additionally, you will evaluate promotional effectiveness and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

The role also involves managing the creation and deployment of point-of-sale materials, working with agencies to design impactful displays, and ensuring proper in-store placement and visibility. You will spearhead consumer engagement initiatives such as activations and sampling, ensuring promoters are well-trained and represent the brand effectively.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 10 years of experience in trade marketing or category management in FMCG.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally and with distributors/retailers.
  • Proven ability to design and execute trade marketing programs that deliver measurable business results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Experience in managing budgets and optimizing trade investments for maximum ROI.
  • Ability to lead and develop teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Knowledge of shopper behavior, retail trends, and category management principles.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
