🧩 About the Role

As a Growth Manager, your primary responsibility is to translate SEO and Ads performance into clear, confidence-building updates for clients. You’ll manage ongoing communication, lead monthly growth reviews, and ensure clients understand what’s working, what’s improving, and what’s next.

You are the bridge between data and trust—keeping clients informed, aligned, and retained.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

💬 Client Communication

• Lead monthly growth review meetings
• Provide additional meetings only when requested
• Send updates via the client’s preferred channel (email, text, Zoom)
• Maintain friendly, professional, and confident communication

📊 Performance Tracking & Report Reading (Core Responsibility)

You must confidently read and explain:

• 📈 Keyword ranking reports
• 📍 Map Pack / Geo-grid results
• 📞 Google Business Profile insights (calls, clicks, directions)
• 🌐 Organic traffic (Google Search Console & GA4)
• 🔗 Backlinks & authority metrics
• 🧾 Citation / NAP accuracy
• ⭐ Review growth & visibility
• 📝 Content indexing & performance
• 📢 Google Ads reports (CPC, CPL, conversions, search terms, optimization stage)

🧠 Monthly Growth Summaries

• Create simple, easy-to-understand monthly recaps
• Highlight wins, movement, and improvements
• Screenshot key metrics that matter
• Deliver updates via short written summaries or Loom videos
• Clearly explain completed work and what’s coming next

🔄 Internal Coordination

• Relay client feedback and concerns to the SEO / Ads teams
• Request fixes or optimizations when performance dips
• Track tasks, follow-ups, and deliverables
• Ensure timelines stay on track

🔐 Retention & Client Confidence

• Keep clients informed, confident, and engaged
• Set realistic expectations (no false SEO guarantees)
• Reinforce the importance of visibility, first-page rankings, and Map Pack presence

🎯 Qualifications & Skills

✅ Required

✔️ Experience reading SEO reports (GSC, GA4, keyword tracking, GBP insights)

✔️ Experience reading Google Ads reports (CPC, CPL, conversions)

✔️ Ability to explain data clearly to non-technical clients

✔️ Solid understanding of SEO & digital marketing fundamentals

✔️ Strong written and verbal communication skills 🗣️

✔️ Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented

✔️ Comfortable on Zoom and client calls

✔️ Able to analyze trends and identify positive or negative movement
