Profile Requirements:

• Min 2.5 year proven experience in a similar role and function.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages:
• Java / Kotlin
• Python
• TypeScript (Node.js)
• Experience with:
• REST APIs / GraphQL
• Database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or similar)
• Experience of frontend/mobile integration:
• iOS (Swift / Objective-C)
• Android (Kotlin / Java)
• Familiarity with: HTML, CSS, SCSS (for full-stack collaboration where needed)
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong understanding of version control (Git)
• use of AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, Emergent and/or others

Core responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers
• Build and manage RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces and UI components
• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes (CI/CD, deployments, monitoring)
• Collaborate with product, design, and mobile teams to ensure seamless integration
• Work with databases (SQL / NoSQL), including schema design and data modelling
• Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and external platforms
• Optimise system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Implement secure authentication, authorisation, and data protection practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments
• Contribute to system architecture, technical strategy, and best practices
