Role Summary

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll take ownership of full-cycle development architecting, coding, testing, and deploying applications that blend performance and usability. You’ll leverage modern frameworks like Next.js, Django, and AWS to create reliable, scalable systems while continuously improving the developer experience through automation, documentation, and DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality frontend and backend code using Next.js (TypeScript) and Django REST Framework (Python).
• Build reusable UI components aligned with Tailwind + shadcn/ui design systems.
• Integrate APIs and manage data workflows using React Query, React Hook Form, and Zod validation.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and backend data models.
• Implement authentication and authorization using AWS Cognito and JWT tokens.
• Build and manage asynchronous background tasks with Celery + Redis.
• Deploy and monitor applications on AWS (ECS/Fargate, RDS, S3, CloudFront).
• Participate in code reviews, maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and write automated tests.
• Contribute to documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI, Markdown) and continuous DevOps improvements.
  
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python/Django and React/Next.js (TypeScript).
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, and Docker.
• Familiarity with Zustand or React Context, Celery, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform/AWS CDK).
• Understanding of modern software development practices: CI/CD, version control (Git), code reviews, and testing frameworks (Vitest/pytest/Playwright).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, independence, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for distributed teams.

• Experience with real-time applications (Django Channels / WebSockets).
• Familiarity with design systems or Figma-to-React handoff workflows.

• Fully remote, Philippines-based, collaborating with teams across US and EU time zones.
