Job Description

As a Front Office Agent, you will be the welcoming face and friendly voice that greets our guests as they arrive at our establishment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that each guest enjoys a seamless and satisfying experience, from check-in to check-out. This position is ideal for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, a knack for problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. You will work closely with other members of the hotel's staff to ensure that guests' needs are met quickly and efficiently, contributing to an overall welcoming and pleasant environment. With every interaction, you will have the opportunity to leave a lasting impression on our guests, reflecting the high standards of service and hospitality that our brand is known for.


Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
  • Accurately register guests and manage room assignments using the hotel’s system.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide clear, helpful information about hotel services.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office and lobby area at all times.
  • Provide local area information and recommendations to guests for dining and attractions.
  • Assist with booking reservations over the phone and online inquiries.
  • Arrange transportation or additional services for guests as requested.
  • Process guest check-outs, including handling payments and issuing invoices.
  • Keep track of daily operations and report any discrepancies or unusual activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure overall guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and to meet deadlines accurately.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software or similar systems is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to remain calm under pressure.
