Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Front Office Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Office Agent plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various guest requests efficiently and professionally. You will be responsible for delivering a positive guest experience, answering queries, managing reservations, and maintaining an organized and welcoming reception area. Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests upon arrival and during their stay, ensuring their comfort.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently to minimize guest waiting time.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services and local amenities to inform guests.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest needs and issues.
  • Process reservations via phone, email, or online booking systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile cash receipts and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift.
  • Ensure the front desk is organized and all necessary materials are available for the team.
  • Assist in maintaining the security and safety of guests by monitoring access to premises.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operational processes for guests.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and ensure data protection protocols are followed.
  • Promote and upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a front office or customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel management software is essential.
  • Friendly and personable demeanor with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
