Role Overview
We’re looking for a mid-level Front-End Developer with strong experience in Ruby on Rails front-end integration and Bootstrap CSS (not Tailwind). This is a hands-on role focused on translating Figma designs into responsive, production-ready views and enhancing the user experience across an existing Rails-based platform.
You’ll collaborate directly with a technically strong CTO who appreciates autonomy, clear written communication, and steady delivery over frequent meetings.
Key Responsibilities

• Implement and refine front-end features in a Ruby on Rails application using Bootstrap.
• Translate Figma layouts into functional, responsive, and maintainable UI components.
• Ensure consistency, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the CTO for technical feedback and progress updates.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Manage version control through Git and standard CI/CD workflows.
  

Hard Skills Required

• Strong working knowledge of Ruby on Rails front-end structure (not back-end Ruby dev).
• Advanced Bootstrap experience (layout, utilities, responsive design).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience implementing Figma designs into live environments.
• Ability to set up and run a local Rails environment.
• Proficiency in Git workflows.
• Excellent written English communication.
