A Florist specializes in designing and arranging floral displays and arrangements for events and individual customers. Responsibilities

• Create aesthetically pleasing floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings or funerals.
• Consult with customers to determine their floral design preferences and special requirements.
• Advise clients on seasonal flower availability and appropriate flower types for specific events.
• Maintain and care for flowers, ensuring they are fresh and presentable for customers.
• Order and manage inventory of flowers, decorative supplies, and other floristry equipment.
• Stay updated with current floral design trends and incorporate them into customer offerings.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Handle flower shop's daily operations, including cash register management and sales documentation.
• Coordinate with event planners and clients to plan floral arrangements for events.
• Deliver floral arrangements to customers or event venues and ensure proper setup.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to negotiate prices and delivery schedules.
• Design window displays and in-store arrangements to attract new customers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a floristry role or a related floral design position.
