Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized Administrative Coordinator to support the daily operations of multiple community and workforce development programs. This role is responsible for managing high-volume email communications, coordinating participant registrations, assisting with event logistics, and providing administrative support to leadership. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional organizational support.


Job Highlights

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4 hours a day flexible within Eastern business hours

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor


Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize a high-volume email inbox, ensuring timely responses and proper prioritization across multiple programs
  • Coordinate program registrations and maintain accurate participant records for youth centers, workforce programs, and community outreach initiatives
  • Support large-scale event planning and logistics, including vendor registration and communication for citywide community events
  • Handle general administrative tasks to streamline daily operations across multiple program areas
  • Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation to free up leadership capacity


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administrative or executive assistant roles, preferably within a nonprofit or community-focused organization
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft professional emails and correspondence
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple programs
  • High level of attention to detail, especially when handling registrations and event logistics
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
