They are currently looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to join their growing team. In this role, you will be a cornerstone of the pre-construction phase, ensuring precision and excellence in every project quote.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting directly to an UK-based manager within the Estimating function, you will play a key role in ensuring our pricing is accurate, competitive, and aligned with business objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze and Interpret: Review architectural and construction drawings to produce comprehensive cost estimates and project quotes.
• Bespoke Quoting: Generate detailed estimates for standard fixtures and specialized custom systems.
• Data Management: Utilize NetSuite for seamless quoting, data input, and real-time job tracking.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales and project teams to clarify project scopes and align pricing with client expectations.
• Cost Optimization: Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and proactively flag risks or anomalies in technical specifications.
• Continuous Improvement: Assist in refining estimation templates and tools to enhance team efficiency.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in a similar estimating role within the construction, building supply, or commercial fit-out industries.
• Strong understanding of architectural and technical drawings; ability to interpret plans and specifications with accuracy.
• Familiarity with washroom fittings and commercial fixtures (preferred but not essential).
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/CRM platforms is essential.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Experience in working with remote team of architects and builders; excellent written and verbal communication skills is required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple quotes simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Bonus Points For:

• Certificate or diploma in estimating, construction management, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with architects, builders, or developers.
• Background in shopfitting, building services, or similar environments.
