Estimator - Aluminum Window And Door Industry V6 Proficiency

Overview

This role is for an Estimator – Aluminum Windows & Doors, responsible for preparing accurate estimates and quotations for high-end residential housing projects. The position focuses on reviewing architectural plans, extracting detailed window and door specifications, and producing complete package quotes using specialized industry software. This role also supports the company’s initial expansion into offshore staffing operations.

Job Highlights

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Australia Queensland Time, with a 1-hour unpaid break

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze architectural plans for high-end residential housing projects
• Extract all window and door–related information from architectural drawings
• Utilize V6 estimating software to create accurate estimates and quotations
• Prepare comprehensive quotes for complete window and door packages for residential properties
• Ensure all estimates align with project specifications and client requirements
• Work directly with architectural plans and technical specifications
• Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in all calculations and documentation
• Support the company’s first venture into offshore staffing operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in estimating within the aluminum window and door industry
• Proficiency with V6 estimating software (required)
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations
• Knowledge of aluminum window and door systems and installation requirements
• Experience working on high-end residential construction projects
