About the role

As our Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll be the driving force behind Miss Amara’s email, SMS, and push notification strategy. You’ll completely own key performance metrics; From open and click rates to revenue captured, and will constantly test, learn, and refine to deliver results that wow.

This role requires a mix of creativity and analytical thinking, plus a strong understanding of customer behaviour in the e-commerce space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Miss Amara’s email, SMS, and push marketing strategy, owning performance metrics such as open rate, click rate, unsubscribe rate, and revenue per recipient.
  • Build, test, and refine automation flows and segmentation to improve customer journeys beyond basic welcome and abandonment flows.
  • Own and schedule all campaign sends, ensuring every message is on-brand and in the Miss Amara tone of voice.
  • Collaborate with the Content and CX teams to improve communication touchpoints, incorporating NPS feedback to refine strategy.
  • Develop content briefs for the Creative team using data-driven insights to continuously enhance performance.
  • Run A/B tests to determine the highest-performing elements — including subject lines, CTAs, imagery, and layout.
  • Partner with Product and Sales teams to ensure high-priority or promotional stock gets the right visibility.
  • Report regularly on campaign and flow performance, offering insights and actionable recommendations.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in performance-based email marketing for eCommerce.
  • Experience with copywriting and a strong sense of brand voice.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and how to inspire action through empathy and insight.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to clarify unclear briefs or create your own when needed.
  • Exceptional prioritisation and time management, thriving in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with Klaviyo or Netcore (highly desirable).
  • Strong CRM knowledge — including segmentation, contact tagging, integrations, APIs, and product feeds.
  • Proficiency with Gmail, Google Sheets/Excel, Slack, and other digital collaboration tools is a plus.
