Who We’re Looking For

We work with candidates who are preparing for academic study and university pathways, so we need examiners who:

• Are confident applying rubrics and marking criteria
• Understand CEFR and Academic English benchmarks
• Can write clear, detailed proficiency feedback for each candidate
  
  

You’ll be a good fit if you enjoy assessment, precision, and academic rigor, not just conversational ESL.

Minimum Requirements (Must Have)

To ensure high-quality, fair assessments, we require:

• C2 level of English (native-equivalent proficiency)
• Master’s Degree (preferably in English, Linguistics, TESOL, or related field)
• TESOL / TEFL / CELTA or similar certification
• English for Academic Purposes (EAP) teaching or assessing experience
• Strong working knowledge of CEFR levels (A1–C2)
• At least 3 years of experience on teaching platforms or higher-education environments
• Comfortable marking both written and spoken assessments using detailed rubrics
  
  

Preferred Backgrounds

We especially welcome:

• University or college instructors in English / EAP
• IELTS/TOEFL/academic exam prep teachers
• Former or current examiners, assessors, or raters
• Academic writing / EAP specialists familiar with essay and oral proficiency standards
