Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance of electrical systems and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Install and repair electrical systems and components following safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers to design new electrical systems and recommend upgrades.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
• Perform tests on electrical components and identify areas needing repair or replacement.
• Provide emergency repairs promptly to minimize downtime in critical operations.
• Ensure compliance with national and local safety and building regulations.
• Maintain records of operational data, maintenance logs, and repair activities.
• Assist in the training or mentoring of apprentice technicians as needed.
• Monitor inventory of essential electrical spare parts and order supplies as required.
• Participate in energy efficiency initiatives and suggest improvements to systems.
• Coordinate with various departments to schedule and execute major repair activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education; electrical certification preferred.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
• Proficient in using electrical diagnostic tools and equipment safely.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility with working hours and on-call work for emergencies.
