Overview Of The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented E-Commerce Marketplace Operations Specialist to support the creation, maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of product listings across multiple online marketplaces. This role requires hands-on experience with ChannelAdvisor/Rithum and at least one major marketplace platform.
This is a highly execution-focused role responsible for ensuring listings are accurate, compliant, live, and searchable while proactively identifying and resolving issues that prevent products from successfully publishing across marketplaces.
The ideal candidate has experience working with large product catalogs, troubleshooting listing and feed errors, maintaining marketplace compliance, and supporting marketplace performance across multiple channels.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
Create, update, and publish product listings through ChannelAdvisor/Rithum.
Map products to the correct categories across marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Best Buy, etc.).
Complete required item specifics, attributes, and product data fields.
Upload and verify images meet marketplace requirements.
Investigate and resolve listing errors, feed failures, suppression issues, and marketplace rejections.
Diagnose root causes preventing products from going live and implement corrective actions.
Monitor listing health and resolve blocked, inactive, or non-searchable products.
Apply templates, business rules, and marketplace requirements accurately.
Verify listings are live, searchable, and displaying correctly on marketplace platforms.
Update listings when product information, pricing, inventory, or attributes change.
Maintain catalog accuracy across large product assortments and multiple sales channels.
Communicate and escalate issues that impact listing publication, compliance, or marketplace performance.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product data completeness and accuracy.
Support marketplace visibility initiatives and listing optimization efforts.
Assist with marketplace advertising and PPC-related listing requirements when applicable.
Requirements
2+ years of hands-on experience using ChannelAdvisor/Rithum.
Experience managing product listings on at least one major marketplace: Amazon, Walmart, eBay, or Best Buy.
Proven experience in troubleshooting listing errors, feed failures, suppressed listings, and marketplace publishing issues.
Experience working with large product catalogs and high SKU volumes.
Strong understanding of category mapping, item specifics, attributes, and marketplace compliance requirements.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
Ability to identify missing product data and proactively resolve listing issues.
Experience with marketplace advertising, PPC campaigns, or listing optimization is a strong plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows and SOPs.
Strong written English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing listings across multiple marketplaces simultaneously.
Experience with bulk uploads, feed management, and catalog maintenance.
Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, eBay Seller Hub, or similar marketplace platforms.
Experience supporting inventory synchronization and marketplace integrations.
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues with minimal supervision.
