Overview

You will serve as the digital backbone of a thriving hybrid retail business, managing Shopify operations and customer relationships while driving growth through creative marketing. Working directly with a tech-savvy owner, you will balance technical e-commerce maintenance with high-impact design and administrative support.


Schedule:

  • Full Time - 40h per week - Monday - Friday - 8am-5pm MDT

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily Shopify operations including content updates, product management, order processing, and plugin maintenance
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide sales support through digital channels (email, chat, social media)
  • Create and design marketing and promotional materials using your creative skills and design portfolio
  • Process and fulfill online orders efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards
  • Respond to customer questions regarding pricing, products, and services with professionalism
  • Maintain customer databases and communication records for ongoing relationship management
  • Provide comprehensive back-end administrative support for e-commerce operations
  • Collaborate directly with the business owner on strategic growth initiatives


Requirements

  • Proven experience as an E-commerce Assistant with specific Shopify platform expertise
  • Strong customer support and digital sales background
  • Content creation and graphic design capabilities with portfolio examples to showcase your work (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Excellent written communication skills for professional customer interactions
  • Experience with e-commerce order management and fulfillment processes
  • Bonus if you have experience with subscription/membership business models
  • It helps if you’re familiar with digital marketing campaigns and promotional strategies
  • You bring the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
