You will serve as the digital backbone of a thriving hybrid retail business, managing Shopify operations and customer relationships while driving growth through creative marketing. Working directly with a tech-savvy owner, you will balance technical e-commerce maintenance with high-impact design and administrative support.

Responsibilities
Manage daily Shopify operations including content updates, product management, order processing, and plugin maintenance
Handle customer inquiries and provide sales support through digital channels (email, chat, social media)
Create and design marketing and promotional materials using your creative skills and design portfolio
Process and fulfill online orders efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards
Respond to customer questions regarding pricing, products, and services with professionalism
Maintain customer databases and communication records for ongoing relationship management
Provide comprehensive back-end administrative support for e-commerce operations
Collaborate directly with the business owner on strategic growth initiatives
Requirements
Proven experience as an E-commerce Assistant with specific Shopify platform expertise
Strong customer support and digital sales background
Content creation and graphic design capabilities with portfolio examples to showcase your work (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
Excellent written communication skills for professional customer interactions
Experience with e-commerce order management and fulfillment processes
Bonus if you have experience with subscription/membership business models
It helps if you’re familiar with digital marketing campaigns and promotional strategies
You bring the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
