The Downstream Supply Chain Analyst supports distribution, fulfillment, and logistics operations by ensuring accurate inventory records, strong system alignment, clean order execution, and detailed reporting visibility across retail, eCommerce, and 3PL partners. This role is critical for operational accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within the order-to-delivery process. This is a full-time, paid, hourly, remote position. This role will need to work a shift aligned with a U.S. time zone.
Responsibilities
Inventory Accuracy & System Reconciliation
Perform daily inventory adjustments and reconcile variances between NetSuite and WMS systems.
Audit inventory records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance across all warehouse locations.
Track upcoming product expirations and coordinate timely callouts to internal retail, marketplace, and DTC teams.
Manage the full process for expired goods from finance notification through warehouse COD completion.
Order, Warehouse, and Logistics Support
Input non-EDI data into NetSuite including delivery appointments, PO updates, and shipment details.
Review sales orders for anomalies such as volume spikes, incorrect lead times, or SKU/UPC mismatches.
Monitor ShipIQ for Target orders and ensure proper routing and compliance requirements.
Audit logistics and 3PL invoices to ensure charges align with contracted rates and operational activity.
Reporting & Operational Visibility
Generate and maintain inventory and operational dashboards within NetSuite.
Update supplemental tracking reports as needed to support internal visibility.
Develop custom downstream reporting (volume trends, storage metrics, fulfillment-related KPIs, etc.) with Excel and other visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).
Identify and recommend opportunities to automate or streamline reporting processes to reduce manual work.
Miscellaneous
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Some travel (<5%) may be required on an as-needed basis, with advance notice provided to the employee.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required.
2-3+ years of experience in Supply Chain required, ideally with a focus on inventory, logistics, or sales order analytics.
Demonstrated work with ERP and WMS systems required; past NetSuite work ideal; additional experience with project management platforms (e.g. Asana), ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite), or order management systems preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and dashboard-building/visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI required.
Record and data auditing experience, strong reporting abilities.
Process improvement mindset with an eye for automation and process improvement opportunities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; professional working level of fluency in English required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
This role involves sitting most of the time but may also involve moving for brief periods of time.
