The Digital Content Assistant is responsible for executing podcast production, publishing, content repurposing, social media scheduling, newsletter management, and meditation app uploads. This role requires someone who is extremely organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing content operations end-to-end without technical training.
Job Highlights
Paid Hours per Week: 20
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 11am | Eastern Time
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Contract: Independent Contractor
Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Podcast Production & Publishing (Full Ownership)
Edit Riverside audio and video recordings
Clean and enhance audio quality
Export final, publish-ready video files (MP4) and audio files (MP3), as required for distribution
Create YouTube thumbnails using established brand templates
Write episode titles, descriptions, and show notes
Upload episodes to the podcast hosting platform
Publish full episodes to YouTube
Own the podcast release schedule and cadence
Ensure all episodes are published accurately and on time
Perform comprehensive quality checks prior to publishing
Maintain a clean, organized file structure in Google Drive
Content Repurposing & Social Media Execution
Repurpose long-form podcast content into short-form clips (Reels/Shorts)
Prepare short-form content aligned with brand voice and guidelines
Schedule social media content according to established cadence
Ensure consistency across platforms in tone, messaging, and presentation
Review all social media content for accuracy and brand alignment
Become fully proficient in my voice, messaging, and brand standards
Proactively offer ideas or suggestions to support content and marketing execution
Newsletter Management & Scheduling
Format and prepare newsletter content provided by me
Ensure newsletters align with brand voice, tone, and messaging
Schedule newsletters according to the established content cadence
Perform quality checks prior to sending, including formatting, links, and clarity
Maintain organized records of newsletter content and sends
Meditation App Support
Pair provided audio files with a moving visual and upload into the meditation app’s admin panel
Organize and manage audio content within the app backend
Follow established naming conventions and content systems
Perform accuracy and completeness checks on all uploaded content
Working Style & Expectations (Non-Negotiable)

Proactive in identifying issues, gaps, or improvements
Clear, prompt, and professional communication
Full ownership of scheduling, cadence, and deadlines
Reliable weekly turnaround and delivery

Willingness to deeply learn and embody my voice and brand across all content
