In this role, you will independently research trends, recommend process improvements, and collaborate with third-party inspection companies to maintain real-time data integrity. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to act as a subject matter expert in data quality control within a dynamic, work-from-home environment.
Schedule
8AM-5PM Monday - Friday (Central time)
Responsibilities:
Focuses on ensuring our contract partners' data is accurate and complete.
Provides recommendations and solutions to management and technology partners (process/system improvement, gaps in controls, technology solutions, etc.).
Acts as Data Quality Control and/or Management subject matter expert.
Acts as an ambassador of Data Quality and Risk Management.
Participates in various research efforts as needed by Prevention Bureau's, including identifying remediation efforts through independent research of approved third-party sources.
Precisely reviewing, and maintaining data to ensure real-time accuracy.
Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.
Communication with third-party Inspection Companies.
Collaborating with a team as well as being able to work independently.
Requirements:
Experience related to data quality control, and data management (Preferred).
Background knowledge of fire safety systems and NFPA Codes and Regulations is preferred.
Ability to adapting to change and effectively integrating new tools and approaches into existing workflows.
Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of records and information to ensure timely retrieval, completion and compliance. (Time Management / Task Management).
Ability to track their own metrics and important information on reviewed reports.
Ability to successfully demonstrate strong work ethic and a commitment to Punctuality and Attendance.
Ability to stay focus and appropriately redirect as needed.
Strong ability to use resources (Resourcefulness) at hand to problem solve. This can refer to official documentation, tutorials, user guides, and online resources.
Strong attention to detail to ensure thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks.
Strong critical thinking skills, able to work independently, develop personal documentation related to tasks to be performed, and make sound, fact-based decisions.
Ability to Collaborate and Communicate effectively, playing a crucial role in achieving collective success. This also includes delivering clear, focused, and concise information.

Data Entry / Management degree or certification (Preferred).
Proficient with MS Office with an emphasis on Excel (Preferred).
Experience with Electronic Records Management Systems (Preferred).
Proven skills with technical aptitude that assist in understanding Software interfaces and navigating digital environments.
Ability to use logical thinking to grasp the system's structure and logic. (Define, Approach, Evaluate and Solve).
