We are seeking a mid-level Data Analyst with loyalty analytics experience to contribute to the build and maintenance of our proprietary loyalty analytics platform, while also supporting consulting engagements and analytics-driven client initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of data analysis, commercial insight, and client delivery, working closely with Australia-based consultants and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work with large, transactional datasets (e.g. loyalty, payments, customer activity) to generate actionable insights that inform product, marketing, and strategic decisions. You will contribute to a suite of proprietary loyalty analytics products covering program performance, customer value, engagement, and financial health. This is a hands-on analytics role focused on analysis, insight generation, and storytelling, rather than people or project management.
Skills Required
5 years experience in data analysis, insights, or analytics roles.
Proven experience working with large, transactional datasets, ideally within loyalty, payments, or customer analytics environments.
Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Experience using Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, or modelling.
Experience working with cloud-based data environments, specifically Snowflake and AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda).
Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaborative code management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly.
Degree-level qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Data, Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics).
What will you do?
Analyse large and complex datasets, including transactional and customer-level data, from ETL and data pipeline development through to modelling and visualisation.
Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and commercial opportunities.
Translate raw data into clear, actionable insights that support client and product strategy.
Support analysis across loyalty program mechanics such as earn/burn, redemption behaviour, engagement, and member segmentation.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of standardised, reusable analytical code and data pipelines that underpin our scalable data products.
Build dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs using Power BI.
Ensure insights are presented clearly and accurately for both internal and client-facing audiences.
Maintain high standards of data quality, validation, and documentation.
Contribute to data dictionaries, KPI definitions, and insight documentation for both internal and client use.
Support consulting engagements by delivering analysis, insights, and structured narratives.
Collaborate with consultants to understand business objectives and analytical requirements.
Contribute to client-ready presentations, reports, and insight packs.
Present findings clearly, translating technical analysis into business-relevant language.
Work closely with consultants, product teams, and technical stakeholders.
Participate in analytical planning, prioritization, and sprint review sessions.
Use AI-assisted tools and modern analytics workflows to improve efficiency and insight quality.
