Customer Support Representative

 

Compensation: $1,200–$1,500 USD per month

Location: Remote - Full-time, exclusive

Hours: PST or MST overlap required (+ part time on weekends)
 

About the company


We are  a growing marketing agency serving clients across the US and Canada. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support our client communications and CRM operations. This role is critical to improving response times, maintaining clean data, and allowing our US-based CS lead to focus on higher-level initiatives.

 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent written communicator, and experienced working inside HubSpot. This is a long-term, full-time role for someone looking to grow with a stable team.
Position Overview: 

This is a remote role with a flexible schedule, requiring availability on weekdays and part-time hours on weekends. As a Virtual Assistant, you will support both our clients and internal team, ensuring smooth communication, efficient task management, and an outstanding customer experience. You will help solve problems, anticipate client needs, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our processes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Client & Team Support: 

  • Respond to client inquiries via HubSpot, email, and other communication channels, providing timely and accurate assistance. 
  • Track and manage customer interactions in HubSpot, ensuring prompt issue resolution and clear documentation. 
  • Assist the marketing team with digital campaign execution and administrative tasks. Prepare periodic performance reports and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Use analytics tools to gather insights on customer behaviors and preferences. 
  • Stay informed about our full range of services to provide knowledgeable support.
  • Support occasional billing-related calls with clients as needed. 

Administrative Tasks: 

  • Schedule meetings, manage and coordinate calendars. 
  • Organize digital files and maintain up-to-date records. 
  • Continuously audit and clean up Hubspot records and data. 
  • Support project management and follow up on action items. 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 years of customer support or virtual assistant experience, ideally in a digital   marketing environment. 
  • Proficient in HubSpot or similar CRM softwares. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities; very detail-oriented and organized.
  • Willingness to work both weekdays and part-time on weekends
  • Ability to work full-time, exclusively for JL Marketing.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Familiarity with Meta, and Google Advertising. 
  • Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Prior experience supporting a marketing agency or SaaS business.
  • Familiarity with ticketing workflows and SLAs.
  • Comfortable communicating with US-based clients.
