CRE Virtual Analyst (VA)

Location: Remote (Philippines or South Africa preferred)
Compensation: $1,500–$2,000/month USD (DOE) - up to $2,200 (The final offer is at the client’s discretion and depends on the candidate’s interview result, skills, and experience.)
Industry: Commercial Real Estate
Schedule: Full-time | U.S. business hours EST Mo-Fr 8AM - 5PM non-negotiable

 

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant with a strong background in Commercial Real Estate (5+ years required). The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and able to work with minimal oversight while supporting acquisitions, underwriting, transactions, and asset management for a growing CRE investment firm.

 

Key Responsibilities

Acquisitions & Underwriting

  • Review offering memorandums and marketing packages
     
  • Underwrite value-add opportunities in Excel (rent rolls, pro forma, capex, IRR, yield-on-cost)
     
  • Research sales comps, lease comps, market rents, property taxes, and operating expenses
     
  • Assist with investment memos and summary preparation
     
  • Coordinate due diligence (track checklists, collect reports, and manage timelines)
     

Transaction Coordination

  • Manage deal progress from LOI to closing
     
  • Coordinate deadlines with brokers, attorneys, escrow/title, and lenders
     
  • Maintain and update the deal pipeline tracker
     
  • Draft and send professional follow-ups and status updates on active deals
     

Asset Management Oversight

  • Communicate with property managers to ensure assigned tasks are completed
     
  • Track leasing activity, rent collections, vacancies, and maintenance issues
     
  • Maintain rent rolls, lease abstracts, and property performance documentation
     
  • Prepare concise weekly/monthly asset performance summaries
     

General Administrative Support

  • Manage and organize email inboxes and calendars
     
  • Maintain digital filing systems and shared drive folders
     
  • Create and refine SOPs for recurring tasks
     

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate (acquisitions, underwriting, or asset management support)
     
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, and property financial modeling
     
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
     
  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
     
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
