Job Description

The Construction Project Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, requiring a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing building projects from inception to completion. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, have a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities. They will act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and contractors, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to achieve project objectives. By leveraging their expertise, the Construction Project Manager will drive project success and foster long-term client relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Oversee project progress to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor construction activities to comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for potential project risks.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to communicate project status to stakeholders and address concerns.
  • Manage client relationships, addressing any issues or changes to project requirements.
  • Ensure that all necessary permits and regulatory approvals are obtained and maintained.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Resolve any conflicts or disputes that arise between project team members or vendors.
  • Ensure the efficient allocation and utilization of resources throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management roles.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple large-scale construction projects successfully.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Proficient in project management software tools, such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and building codes essential.
