This organization offers small-group and one-to-one maths tutoring for upper primary and lower secondary students, focusing on strong conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. Led by an experienced education professional, the program has operated for several years and continues to grow through targeted marketing and positive family referrals.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a mid-senior level Client Growth and Onboarding Manager to own the full lead-to-sale ecosystem. This is a strategic, KPI-driven role for a hands-on operator who can design, implement, and optimise client acquisition and onboarding systems. The ideal candidate thrives on data, process, and results—not just executing tasks—and will work independently to deliver measurable growth while keeping leadership informed of actions and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and optimise the full client acquisition pipeline — from ad-generated lead through to booked call, diagnostic completion, and final enrolment. This includes maintaining momentum at every touchpoint, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring prospects are guided seamlessly through the journey
Responsible for proactive follow-up across all inbound and outbound communication channels, ensuring timely responses, consistent nurturing, and preventing leads from going cold
Creative production is not required; however, the ability to brief freelancers, review assets for funnel suitability, and provide direction based on performance data is essential. Ability to create simple assets independently is a bonus
Proven ability to evaluate and direct marketing materials, identifying strong hooks, messaging, and creative angles that resonate with parents seeking maths support. Must be able to provide strategic creative direction based on funnel performance
Experience overseeing both paid and organic acquisition channels, with the ability to lead awareness strategies, advise on content direction, and support the creation of material that increases top-of-funnel growth
Ability to implement, monitor, and optimise Meta ad campaigns (uploading assets, running tests, basic troubleshooting) as part of managing the full acquisition ecosystem
Experience with or ability to oversee additional paid channels (e.g., Google Search, YouTube) is preferred, with readiness to expand beyond Meta as the business scales
Comfortable leveraging AI tools to support research, draft messaging, analyse data patterns, and streamline operational workflows. AI should enhance strategic decision-making rather than replace it
Ability to guide the founder on required messaging, video scripts, and strategic actions based on funnel performance and identified opportunities
Primary KPI: Net monthly increase of high-quality enrolments (after churn). Secondary KPIs include lead-to-sale conversion rate, diagnostic completion rate, and progression through each funnel stage
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience managing and optimising a full client acquisition and onboarding system
Strong experience with CRM management, lead funnels, and KPI-driven growth strategies
Demonstrated ability to interpret data, identify bottlenecks, and implement systemic solutions
Strategic thinker with initiative; able to take ownership of complex processes and drive outcomes independently
Strong organisational and communication skills, with experience in client-facing interactions
Comfortable working in a KPI-driven environment with clear performance expectations
Creative production skills are not required; outsourcing options are available
Industry background is flexible; we value operational and strategic experience over niche knowledge

Reduced client churn and higher completion rates through optimised onboarding
Smooth, efficient client onboarding system that can scale with business growth
Clear, actionable reporting and insights that keep leadership focused on strategic priorities

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
