Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CFO Consultant to provide high-level financial strategy, oversight, and advisory support for a multi-location restaurant operation. This is a part-time, contract-based role with a flexible, project-driven schedule aligned with the client’s business hours (Central Time).

The ideal candidate brings senior-level finance leadership experience within the restaurant or hospitality industry, with a strong ability to analyze performance, optimize financial systems, and guide leadership through data-driven decision-making. This role is focused on strategic direction and financial governance, rather than day-to-day accounting execution


Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $15.00 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency

Schedule: Flexible within clients business hours (Central time), project-based

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic financial analysis and executive-level guidance
  • Review and interpret KPIs to support operational and growth decisions
  • Advise on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Evaluate and optimize financial systems and reporting processes
  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to leadership, ensuring strong oversight and controls


Requirements

  • Senior-level finance leadership experience (CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent)
  • Proven background in multi-location restaurant operations
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Advisory mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
  • Clear, confident communication with executive stakeholders
