Our client is seeking a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to take the financial helm of a rapidly expanding e-commerce fulfillment leader. From overseeing day-to-day accounting operations to driving high-level financial planning, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, improving efficiency, and supporting expansion efforts including potential acquisitions in the Philippine market. This role is ideal for a proactive CPA who thrives on solving complex challenges and optimizing processes in a dynamic business setting.

Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $7.00 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM CST

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to inform business decisions
• Ensure strict compliance with Philippine accounting standards and tax regulations
• Oversee payroll processing for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities to guide financial strategy
• Develop and implement robust accounting policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the financial analyst to deliver actionable financial insights
• Oversee accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes
• Support financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and expansion plans

Requirements

• CPA certification with proven accounting experience (e-commerce or logistics industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and tax laws
• Proficiency with advanced accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical ability, and strategic mindset
• Experience managing payroll for large teams (warehouse/logistics experience a plus)
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Highly organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with financial trends in e-commerce/logistics (strong advantage)
