The Catalogue Visuals Coordinator is responsible for ensuring SmartBuyGlasses product catalogue maintains a consistently high visual standard across the website. This role owns the end-to-end image lifecycle, from quality-checking AI-generated model images and creating AI lifestyle imagery, to coordinating photoshoot lists and photo editing workflows with internal photographers and editors. The Coordinator will flag and resolve quality issues, manage uploads in line with product listing requirements, and maintain organised asset storage for stakeholder access.
A key part of the role involves auditing website images to identify gaps or non-compliant visuals, maintaining SBGs image quality standards documentation, and reporting on image coverage and QC metrics against defined KPIs. The ideal candidate has a strong visual eye, hands-on experience with AI image generation tools (such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or Stable Diffusion) and photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or equivalent), and is highly organised with excellent attention to detail. This role requires someone comfortable coordinating across multiple teams and external partners in a fast-paced, KPI-driven e-commerce environment.
AI-Generated Product Image QC & Upload:
Review and quality-check AI-generated model images produced via API, ensuring they meet SBG visual standards (colour accuracy, fit, cropping, background, consistency).
Flag and reject images that do not pass QC, providing clear feedback to the AI/tech team for iteration.
Upload approved images to the website in line with product listing requirements and naming conventions.
Maintain a log of QC outcomes and track pass/fail rates over time.
AI Lifestyle Image Creation & Upload:
Create AI lifestyle images featuring models wearing SBG glasses, using approved AI tools and adhering to brand aesthetics and tone.
Iterate on outputs based on feedback from the Merchandising and Marketing teams.
Upload finalised lifestyle images to the correct product pages on the website.
Photoshoot List Preparation & Photographer Coordination:
Analyse catalogue gaps and prioritise frames that require new photography.
Share shoot lists with internal photographers, ensuring briefs are clear and complete.
Track shoot progress and follow up to ensure delivery timelines are met.
Photo Editing List Preparation, Editor Coordination & Upload:
Compile editing lists based on incoming photography batches, specifying required retouching, background removal, and output formats.
Share editing briefs with photo editors and manage priorities and deadlines.
QC edited images before uploading: verify consistency, resolution, file naming, and compliance with website image specs.
Upload approved edited images to the website promptly and accurately.
Maintain organised shared file storage so all stakeholders can access assets easily.
Website Image QC & Standards Maintenance:
Conduct regular audits of product images across the website to identify outdated, missing, or non-compliant visuals.
Maintain and evolve the SBG image quality standards documentation.
Raise IT/BI tickets or coordinate internally to resolve image-related technical issues.
Report on image coverage and quality metrics to the Merchandising Team Leader.
Stay up to date with visual trends in e-commerce eyewear to proactively recommend improvements.

% of active SKUs with AI human model image on the website out of the whole House Brand Catalogue

# of SKUs shot & sent to VTO digitalization
# of PIDs edited and uploaded to the website
