We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Carpenter to join our dynamic team. As a General Carpenter, you will be responsible for crafting construction projects from start to finish in accordance with established plans. Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute construction plans and blueprints accurately and efficiently.
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials using various tools.
• Inspect and replace any damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as plumbers and electricians, to complete projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of work quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment to prevent work-related injuries.
• Estimate size, cost, and quantities of materials required for each project.
• Adhere to industry standards and comply with building codes and safety regulations.
• Provide clear communication and updates to supervisors regarding project progress.
• Stay updated on new techniques, tools, and materials by participating in training sessions.
• Perform maintenance or refurbishing tasks as needed, ensuring lasting quality of work.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter, with a solid portfolio of completed projects.
• In-depth understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating sizes and angles.
• Excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to work for long periods.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
• Valid certification or license in carpentry may be required, depending on the region.
