Job Description

The role of a Production/Quality and Procurement Manager is a multifaceted position that requires a dynamic individual capable of overseeing the production process, ensuring quality standards, and managing procurement activities within the organization. This leadership position is integral to the seamless operation of manufacturing processes and requires a balance of technical acumen, strategic planning, and effective team management. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the production process and manage the production schedule effectively.
  • Ensure that production objectives and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Coordinate with various departments to streamline production activities.
  • Implement quality control procedures to improve product durability and performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of production teams regularly.
  • Manage budgetary constraints within the production and procurement processes.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Identify and select suppliers, negotiating the best deals for pricing and delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date procurement records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to incorporate new technologies and methods.
  • Resolve work discrepancies and quality issues promptly to maintain standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Business, or related field.
  • At least five years of experience in production management or procurement roles.
  • Strong understanding of quality control procedures and production techniques.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and resource allocation in a manufacturing setup.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to maintain supplier relations.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software and ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Outstanding leadership abilities, with a focus on team development and growth.
