Job Description:

You’ll be the creative force behind engaging social media content for three unique food brands, each with its own personality and target audience. This role puts your video editing expertise front and center—no generalist tasks, just pure creative focus on what you do best. You’ll work with a growing food business that values efficiency and quality, giving you the opportunity to showcase your skills while building a portfolio of diverse, culturally-rich content that resonates with audiences across multiple platforms.

Job Highlights:

• Hourly Rate: USD 7, the equivalent in your local currency
• Paid Hours per Week: 20
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday - 9:00 am - 2:00 pm East Brisbane, QLD
• Work Arrangement: Work from home
• Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities:

• Edit compelling short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok across three distinct food brands
• Create platform-optimized content that drives engagement and showcases each brand’s unique personality
• Adapt and cross-post video content for Facebook distribution
• Maintain consistent visual aesthetics and brand standards across all three brands
• Work efficiently with CapCut Pro to deliver high-volume, quality content
• Collaborate on content strategy to maximize reach and engagement across diverse target audiences
• Focus on content creation efficiency while maintaining creative excellence
• Build and maintain a portfolio of social media video work for ongoing brand development

Requirements:

• Approximately 2 years of video editing experience with a focus on social media content
• Proven expertise in social media video editing and content creation
• Proficiency with CapCut Pro software (required)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating social media video work across multiple platforms
• Experience creating content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook video formats
• Understanding of short-form video best practices, trends, and platform-specific requirements
• Bonus if you have long-form video editing experience
• It helps if you have experience working with food, lifestyle, or culturally diverse brands
